  • A single vineyard of 0.76 hectares from one of the most qualitative terroir of Santenay touching Chassagne-Montrachet. Limestone and clay soil, this Clos de Tavannes is exposed fully south with vines of 40 and 70 years old.
  • One week cold soaking before the natural start of fermentation. Soft extraction for three weeks before 12 months maturation in french oak barrels (20% new). Blended in tanks and bottling after 18 months.
  • This is the most complex wine of the estate with beautiful aromas of red fruits, spice and grilled notes. The palate is powerful, structured with intense flavours and a long mineral finish.
  • Drink now or it will age beautifully for up to 10 years. Serve around 16ºC with meat in sauce, game and roast.
