  • From 70 years old vineyard on the best part of the butte (hill). Hand-picked, low yield (13hl/ha) and extreme sorting. Destalked and fermentation in wooden open vats, 4 to 5 weeks maceration then 18 months maturation in French oak barrels (30% new).
  • Great deep colour, beautiful complexity with hints of berries, undergrowth and spices. On the palate, the wine shows beautiful balance between generosity and refreshing acidity to finish long, refined and stylish. One of the best red wine of the Bourgueil appellation
  • Serve around 16°C on red meat, lamb and game. A sauce will enhance the wine.
